At one of the nation’s largest universities, a new building was created to house the design school—a place where students of architecture, interiors, historic preservation, product design, landscape architecture, and biomedical engineering can all learn and work together. To meet the needs of such a collaborative environment, aCapella Verse Baffles were installed across most ceilings. These acoustical solutions enhance clarity, reduce noise, and provide a visually clean rhythm overhead, creating a learning environment as functional as it is inspiring.

aCapella Verse Baffles were customized into a continuous curve, carrying movement across classrooms and shared spaces. More than acoustical treatment, the installation doubles as an architectural expression—showing future designers how sound, form, and material can work together seamlessly.
