River Grove Elementary – Lake Oswego, Oregon

River Grove Elementary in Lake Oswego, Oregon, has undergone a comprehensive remodel aimed at creating an environment that fosters learning and excitement while emphasizing sustainability and innovative design. G&S Acoustics, in partnership with their local representative Rain Specialties, played a pivotal role in this transformation by providing a wide range of acoustical wall and ceiling panels that not only enhance the school’s architectural finishes but also ensure superior acoustical control throughout the facility.

A highlight of the project is the school’s gymnasium, where the River Grove Raccoon mascot is proudly displayed on the walls in a custom cut design using G&S Acoustics’ Melody mScores. This intricate design not only adds a personalized touch to the space, but also acoustical control.

Throughout the school’s halls, aCapella Scores-Gami panels are featured, further enhancing the acoustic environment while adding visual interest with additional custom-cut raccoon designs along the walls.

Both Melody and aCapella are product lines made from recycled PET polyester, providing a sustainable material for design and acoustical control.

Beyond showcasing incredible custom cut designs with panel formations that featured the school’s mascot, G&S Acoustics’ AP and Tackable wall panels were also installed along the walls of various other spaces within the school. These panels provide acoustical control as well as tackable surfaces to showcase projects and other materials.
